Continuing with their rapid expansion plans, our client has created a new role for a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and experience of multi sited organisations. You will be providing support to the Board and the numerous divisions of this household name group, which has an excellent track record of growth and profitability resulting in a Ј100 million plus turnover for the group. The role will include evaluating future acquisitions, analysis of business plans, along with producing financial commentaries and supporting analysis to highlight market trends and potential business opportunities. The expectation is for you to be very proactive in your interaction with all business units and highlight cost saving opportunities where appropriate whilst drive a policy of excellence throughout the finance function. Ideally you will have worked within a retail environment for a significant number of years, be highly commercially aware with strong written and verbal communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking individual to assist in driving a major UK business forward, where you will have the autonomy to make a real impact.
